I teared my paper 😶
I don’t get what everyone’s complaining about. This was my first time doing this and I didn’t tear the paper at all. Albeit, it looks pretty wrinkly and ugly but it didn’t tear!

Why did I try this with a sticky note? It ripped it half.
It's not easy at all
I found out the strategy to fold the flower petals where everyone is ripping them.
You can see that they bend the tip of the petal in whenever they're folding it.
You want to let some space out, so you want to space it out with your finger a bit, but not enough to space out the tip folded part.
Then you do the fold thing.
I don't know this worked for me.

I couldn't manage the perfect folds and every time I folded a corner it poked up so when I tried to press it down my finger got stabbed ;~; I ended up giving up cri
I don't even have origami paper lol
I literally sat on it to keep it flat
My first few tries all ripped but after some practice i got it! It helps if you lift up the paper and bend it a bit before pulling
The paper won’t stop tearing no matter how gentle I am with it and no matter what paper I use, this tutorial is essentially useless

this is actually a traditional origami "waterlily" and is mostly made out of napkins in restaurants. its made out of napkins so it DOESNT RIP do not use regular paper.
I ripped the paper but found out that it's better to fold it a lot, I mean like all the way not forwards but downwards, if that makes any sense 😅, great content I subbed.

hey guys, i had trouble with this at first (read: ripped all four petals), but it helped when i started counteracting the pulling of the petals with the push of my thumb in the middle of the origami, on the side where you're also holding down the pinch. try imagining youre trying to push in on the pinching side and pull the petal. it also helps to fold the petal up while you're pulling it out before pulling directly upward! hope this helps
